Our Son

While I was growing up a brother I did not have,
and with which I wasn't blessed.
When I got married I wanted a son,
and God gave me the among the best.

Now I'm not saying that you're perfect,
We've had our ups and downs.
But when things got tough,
God was always around.

As you were growing up
I tried to teach you right from wrong.
But as life goes on you're teaching me
a great many things I didn't know.

You hold a place in my heart
where no one's ever been.
You are my son,
you are my friend.

With Jerry's love for music he became the guitar player in the family, 

 (I could not find a guitar background) He goes to the ends

of the area to play his music in solitude to comfort of his own soul.

Motor Cycles were his joy taking him to many place.

 However one too many close calls while riding created a closure never to return.

My first born while his father had just completed boot camp in the U.S. Navy.

A new baby, God's Miraculous Miracle.

This new and young mother learning how to be a mom and his dad serving the country.

Those days there were no educational classes to teach you

how to change diapers, there were no disposable diapers,

classes to teach you how to handle situations that may or may

not arise while raising a child.

Things were pretty much hit and miss until experiences begins to show up.

Most likely because those things were not available then;

is why they are now. People like me realized that there are some

things that do not come natural and those of us

with experience can try to make it easier for others.

When we traveled the US with dad in the Military we had great fun,

 pride and the ability to see the the country. We always had a dog,

when we were  transferred to a new base our pets always came with us.
