Choosing the correct color over the Internet can be an difficult determination particularly when there i

s not another wig or hairpiece to go by that consist of or is close to the color your satisfied with.

When you do have a satisfactory color from another distributor; most likely, that same

color number is available among other distributors and can be matched.

A few distributor have names of colors instead of color numbers however most distributors

have available color conversion charts that harmonize with other manufacturer's colors.

colors with the colors available for products on my website.

In essence, the consumer does not realize that every color available with each brand is

extremely comparable even though the distributors may use different names or numbers.

Modacrylic Fiber Blends

Newer, softer Synthetic Fiber Blends

Kenkelon Fiber Blends

Newest combination of soft synthetic fiber blends that allow the use of a

moderately low heat setting for re-styling.

Re-curling or re-styling synthetic hair can be exigent because the fibers are not

designed for reforming and the modification of curl will not last as in human hair.

In essence, synthetic hair can be re-curled using rollers but the style will relax

quickly and return to the original curl pattern. In many instances re-curling often

effects synthetic hair and causes it to become dry, dull and brittle.

Our Synthetic hair feels similar to human hair in texture however it cannot be re-colored and

permed in addition synthetic hair is not heat resistant and has limited behavior qualities.

Synthetic hair will have some sort of a base curl pattern that is noted on the web page

of the hair replacement you are viewing. The base curl is for

body consistency and hair move-ability.

When placing a synthetic hair replacement you may want to attach it facing

forward or reverse to the back because the hair may style

better for your when attached in another direction.

As stated, Synthetic hair is NOT heat resistant therefore you must be very

careful when you are near an open flame or an open oven door.

The fibers will melt or singe since they are made of a type of plastic fiber.

When this happens the hair is un-repairable. You can try to have the melted

or singed hair cut but in many cases the damage has been done to more than just the ends.

Human Hair Blends

Our Human hair blends are blended with synthetic hair and are becoming popular.

They are quite beautiful, easy to maintain, can be re-styled with rollers,

not hot irons satisfactorily and the hair quality is more lasting and softer

than average synthetic. However, human hair blends cannot be re-colored or permed.

I have noticed that there are differences in human hair blends hair quality

with different manufacturer's hair goods. In this case I can advise you

which is the best manufacturer for the style you are considering

Human Hair will singe (not melt) with fire and extreme heat on the same category as our own hair will.

It can be altered by cutting but the use of deep penetrating conditioners basically

will not help repair the hair because the internal structure has been severely damaged;

as our own hair would be. Deep penetrating conditioners will just make styling a bit easier and will not fix the problem.
