(Mine for example)  Reds and browns hair can

have blonde eyebrows

and in as much blondes can have brown eyebrows.

 Matching your eyebrows

is not the most important factor in choosing a

wig color but values sincere

consideration when your eyebrows and hair color blend as the same.

The most important two things to consider are skin tone and eye color.

There are eight common shades per one hair color

that does not include the

numerous tonal values per shade. Keeping in mind

that cool colors have no brassy

 under tones or reds. 

Stemming from the under tones are both cool to

warm tones in every shade of color.

     Skin tones that are of very fair complexion with the

under tones of pink or

blue should stay within the cool colors such as ash.

Very light pale colors work well.

Cool colors are not always the lightest colors but

are on the lighter side of

the charts in tonal shades. Even red has a cool tone in color.

      Skin tones of fair complexions with gold, no pink or blue under

tones can wear warm or cool colors but not

to the extreme on either side of the color chart.

      Light olive complexions can also wear warm or cool colors

but not to the extreme on either side of the color chart.

      Dark olive complexions can wear the dramatic reds and

warm bright and medium light to dark colors. 

      Skin tones can be altered with an outdoor life style,

 in door and out door

tanning, some medical conditions and treatments.

Eye color can be another tricky factor when it comes to

wig color choices.

The circle surrounding the eye pupil is the eye color.

The section of the eye color that seems to

sparkle contains gold or ash “eye lights”.

Surrounding and out lining the eye color while

separating it from the

white of the eye is a thin circle that varies

in the degree of

 thinness and color tones.

 When another person looks at your eye

color circle directly

from an on point side view the circle either

dissipates or is prominent.

 A dissipating circle classifies you as cool

while prominence

classifies towards the warm tones.

Often only a professionally trained

hair colorist can

successfully classify your natural tones

 of hair color with eye color.  There are some who appear not

to have the out lining circle; it is there but very thin

being light in color and blending.

Since eye color “eye lights” is the one part of our bodies

God gave us that we cannot alter

(unless you wear the color contact

lenses while being attractive they usually are artificially evident)

eye color is what you want to blend wig colors with or to. 

The eyes are the heart of the soul; we cannot alter them.

A conscientious person usually knows what

colors comfortably compliment their

over-all chosen appearance but what seemingly is

unknown is the variety

of wig colors that can be worn as beautiful and

complimentary colors by just one individual. 

      “Eye lights” ultimately should classify color

tones used in hair and wig high lighting effects.

With total hair loss due to medical treatments

it is always best to

choose your wig and wig color before the hair loss is complete.

Many prolong their wig choices understandably

because of coping with the

fact of loosing their hair, do not feel well or can’t

get going with the desire to

choose a hair replacement since it has become a

need and not particularly because they want to.
